2. My new shirt that cements my place in crazy cat lady society. 
3. Mother’s Day snuggles with my furbaby that OBVIOUSLY was loving it.
4. New polishes! Revlon’s Moon Candy in Eclipse and Essie’s Boom Boom Room
5. I’ve been obsessed with wearing coral lips. My favorite combination had been Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Ambition with Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Coral Reef over top. To check out more of my coral favs go here.

I don’t know what bit me, but lately I’ve been all about coral makeup. I’ve never really ventured into the world of corals because I thought they wouldn’t suit me, but I’ve come to find out I was wrong! I think my misconception came from trying to wear orange based nudes which look horrendous on me. But I have been all about soft shades of peaches especially on my lips and cheeks. Hi all long time no see! Well I guess I did blog on Friday, but it feels like longer. I have been puppy sitting and not been home to take pictures or film so I thought today I’d leave you with a little bit of my life on instagram (@rissaroo21 in case ya wondered). I do promise I will have a Spring lip color post up this week!

So I think it’s officially Spring here in PNW and while I know some of you have been dealing with snow we’ve been having some lovely 70+ degree days which is rare here. With the sunshine comes the urge to punch up my makeup look and I’m going to share with you some of my must have Spring products to brighten up your look!
1. Oh my gosh the new Maybelline Color Tattoos are to die for! You really can’t go wrong with any of them so just go and pick up one (or two) that catch your eye. I love Lavish Lavender and Cool Crush, perfect for a subtle pop of color on the lid. When I wear Lavish Lavender I pop Mac’s Quarry (a matte purple/grey) in the crease and with Cool Crush I used a matte medium brown to keep the light blue color looking modern.
2. You all know I’ve been obsessed with bright lips. Currently I’m obsessed with Maybelline’s Vivids and Color Whisper line, specifically the more peachy/orange shades. For a bold lip I’ve been reaching for Vibrant Mandrin and for a more subtle look I love the Color Whisper in Pin Up Peach. I like wearing these organgey shades with barely there eyes just some champagne shadow and loads of mascara and for the cheeks I choose a pinky/peach blush.
3. There’s nothing better in the Spring then a pinky cheek. My favorites for a pink flush are Benefit’s Hervana and Mac’s Well Dressed. Pair these blushes with whatever look you like because they really go with any and everything especially Hervana because it has a mix of shades!

5. Girls day watching the Jurassic Park trilogy and then walking in the park discussing what we’d do in a Jurassic like scenario. We all agreed we’d hide in the sewer. hahaha
